The High Horse

The High Horse occupies a landmark position in Jackson Square — directly across from the Transamerica Pyramid, in a space that was once a working horse stable during the Gold Rush era. The exposed brick, vintage accents, and warm lighting carry that history lightly. The crowd every night confirms it's earned a place in San Francisco's contemporary scene.

At 180 standing and 90 seated, The High Horse has the capacity to hold a serious event and the character to make it memorable. It's our most consistent after-party venue — if you're closing out a GDC night or want a space that keeps energy up past midnight, this is where most of our event planners land.
